Inter Milan manager Cristian Chivu is eagerly waiting for the return of long-term absentee Matteo Darmian.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the 45-year-old is hoping to address a growing injury crisis in the current transfer window.
Denzel Dumfries has been in the pits since the beginning of November and will be out of action until March.
Meanwhile, Darmian has been out since late September.
Their absences have left Cristian Chivu strapped for reliable wingback options, with Luis Henrique remaining the only senior option on the right.
Inter Milan Boss Cristian Chivu Hopes for Matteo Darmian Comeback

Luckily for Inter, Darmian is on the verge of recovery.
Despite being left out of the squad yesterday, the 36-year-old could be available for the upcoming clash against Lecce.
However, Chivu is still hoping to reinforce the right wing by the end of January.
Inter have been keeping close tabs on several players, including Marco Palestra and Dodo.
Yet, they cannot realistically hope to sign the former before the summer, given Atalanta’s prohibitive asking price.
