Talks between Inter Milan and Galatasaray over the transfer of Davide Frattesi have reportedly reached an impasse.

According to the Italian media via FCInter1908, the Italian’s future at San Siro is hanging by a thread.

Davide Frattesi has tumbled down the pecking order this season, collecting just four starts across all competitions.

Indeed, after making one Serie A start under Cristian Chivu, the 26-year-old is ready to wave goodbye to Milan.

However, Inter won’t let their out-of-sorts star leave for less than €35 million.

Frattesi’s fate at San Siro looks sealed, but Inter have yet to receive a satisfying bid for the former Sassuolo midfielder.

Despite developing a genuine interest, Galatasaray have been reluctant to match Inter’s asking price.

Instead, they were hoping to sign the player on loan with an option to buy.

However, Chivu’s men are insisting on a mandatory buyout clause, which has left talks between the two clubs at a standstill.

Meanwhile, Galatasaray’s firm stance could reportedly open the door for potential Premier League suitors.
