Turkish giants Galatasaray have reportedly not given up on their hopes of signing Inter Milan stalwart Hakan Calhanoglu.
According to Turkish media outlet TRT Spor via FCInterNews, Okan Buruk’s side could soon rekindle talks with the player’s agent.
Galatasaray were desperate to lure Hakan Calhanoglu to Istanbul last summer.
Furthermore, they even held several rounds of talks with the player’s representatives to discuss the transfer.
However, the 31-year-old ended up staying at San Siro, where he has been nothing short of outstanding this season.
Indeed, the Turkish playmaker has already scored seven Serie A goals under new manager Cristian Chivu.
Galatasaray to Reignite Talks with Inter Milan Ace Hakan Calhanoglu in January

Sidelined with a calf injury, Calhanoglu is reportedly facing a month-long spell in the pits.
Despite his ongoing difficulties, the former AC Milan star remains a concrete target for Galatasaray.
Moreover, the Turks could soon reopen negotiations with the player, with Inter asking for around €15 million to greenlight the move.
Part of the reason could be Calhanoglu’s contract, which expires in the summer of 2027.
Nonetheless, the idea of Calhanoglu departing Inter midway through the campaign looks far-fetched.

They are turning into some kind of joke. Probably will end up relegating after the scandals
Galatasaray are broke , they dont have money and they need to pay for Osimien , so they have to sell him in order to buy anyone, thats why they only want hakan for pennies and fratessi on loan. Roma is doing the same thing, they need to raise 100mlns till end of June.2026 and yet they try to take players on loan+purchase option, where they will take the money to buy the player ?
Galatasaray – can’t hear it anymore. Every transfer window Galatasaray is going to buy this player and that player but they never do because they don’t have a penny. The last player they actually directly bought from us was Yuto Nagatomo
They bought Osimhen, Sane, Gündoğan and Singo, last summer. Check your facts before spewing nonsense.
