Serie A giants Inter Milan are reportedly ready to take drastic measures against forgotten Argentine center-back Tomas Palacios.
According to FCInterNews, the 22-year-old is at risk of being ‘demoted’ to the U23 squad after refusing several offers from abroad.
Tomas Palacios swapped Independiente Rivadavia for Lombardy in the summer of 2024.
However, he has failed to settle at the San Siro.
Indeed, he made just three cameo appearances last term under Simone Inzaghi.
Furthermore, he has yet to register a single minute under Cristian Chivu this season.
Inter Milan to Demote Tomas Palacios to U23 Squad

Palacios has been on the pits since late October due to a hamstring injury.
Though he is on the verge of recovery, the out-of-favor defender is unlikely to return to Chivu’s good graces.
Meanwhile, the player rejected several offers in the summer, insisting on staying and fighting for his place at San Siro.
If Palacios continues to play hardball, Inter may have no choice but to sideline him.
However, the Nerazzurri are hopeful of offloading their flop by the end of January.

I think it’s good chance to grow for next season.
would be best to just terminate his contract, if that is possible. He’s not getting a chance for a reason. There are regular training session where players show what they’re capable of..
I respect his atitude. Hope he gets a chance
