Inter Milan manager Cristian Chivu has steered Piotr Zielinski back on track following an unimpressive first season at San Siro.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the 31-year-old is playing with newfound confidence after a rough start to life in Lombardy.
Despite joining the Nerazzurri as one of the most highly rated Serie A midfielders, Piotr Zielinski struggled in his first year at the club.
Indeed, a lack of confidence and recurring fitness problems restricted him to only 1,762 minutes in all competitions last term.
However, the Polish star has gone from strength to strength this season.

Zielinski’s role has become critical for Inter, especially in the absence of starting playmaker Hakan Calhanoglu.
For context, the former Napoli ace has already made 1,388 minutes this term, spanning across 26 competitive appearances.
More importantly, he netted three goals and added two assists in those matches, eclipsing last season’s two-goal tally.
Meanwhile, he scored just twice in the entire 2024/25 campaign, with both goals coming from the spot in a 4-4 draw against Juventus.
