Inter Milan and Juventus are reportedly tracking unsettled Manchester City star Gianluigi Donnarumma.
According to The Sun via FCInterNews, the former AC Milan goalkeeper could return to Serie A at the end of the season.
Gianluigi Donnarumma cut ties with Paris Saint-Germain last summer to join Pep Guardiola’s side.
However, he has failed to find his footing at the Etihad Stadium despite being considered as one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
Inter Milan & Juventus Rekindle Interest in Gianluigi Donnarumma
It’s worth noting that Donnarumma’s contract in Manchester runs out in 2031.
Furthermore, the 26-year-old earns a whopping €15 million net per season.
Therefore, his salary is well beyond Inter’s reach. The same applies to Juventus, who are also in the mix.
As such, the Italy international would likely have to take a substantial pay cut to secure his return to Serie A.
Meanwhile, Inter are also keeping close tabs on Aston Villa veteran Emiliano Martinez as they aim to replace the outgoing Yann Sommer.
But there’s no doubt that Donnarumma would be a dream signing for the Nerazzurri.
