Francesco Pio Esposito scored in Inter Milan’s 6-2 rout of Pisa on Saturday night, with the Italian press praising the young forward in the aftermath.
Starting once again alongside Lautaro Martinez, the striker delivered another authoritative display that underlined his rapid rise, as highlighted by L’Interista.
La Gazzetta dello Sport awarded Esposito a rating of seven, highlighting both his physical presence and growing reliability.
The paper wrote that he played with “muscles on show,” attacking the decisive cross for the equaliser before celebrating beneath the Curva Nord.
While noting a moment of distraction on Pisa’s second goal from a corner, the daily concluded that Esposito is “no longer a surprise, but a guarantee.”
Inter 6-2 Pisa – Pio Esposito Praised Once Again

Even stronger praise arrived from Corriere dello Sport, which handed the Inter forward a 7.5.
The Roman newspaper stressed that Cristian Chivu rewarded Esposito after his goal against Lecce and a strong cameo against Arsenal, and that trust paid off immediately.
According to the report, “the header at the end of the first half was perfect,” drawing inspiration from Lautaro’s movement and timing.
Tuttosport echoed that verdict with the same score and a striking metaphor. For the Turin-based paper, “for Pisa’s defenders he was an Everest to climb.”
The report added that when Esposito plants himself, the ball belongs to him, pointing to the moment he overwhelmed Canestrelli for the 3-2 goal before continuing to link play and create chances.
Across the press, the assessment was unanimous. Esposito’s strength, timing and confidence now pose a constant problem for opposition defences, and against Pisa he once again confirmed his growing influence in Inter’s attack.
