Aleksandar Stankovic continues to impress during his loan spell in Belgium and, once again, his performance has fuelled discussion about a future return to Inter Milan.
The midfielder starred for Club Brugge, scoring twice in a thrilling 4-3 win over Zulte Waregem at the Jan Breydel Stadium.
As a result, he finished the match as one of the standout performers, as noted by FCInterNews.
Inter sent Stankovic to Brugge last summer with a clear plan.
The agreement includes a buy-back clause, allowing the Nerazzurri to bring him back if his progress continues.
So far, the signs have been very encouraging.
Inter Star Dimarco Praises Stankovic: ‘Fantastic Brace’

After the match, Stankovic shared his joy on Instagram. “Two goals, three points. Very happy for the team and our fans. No Sweat No Glory,” he wrote.
Shortly after, a familiar name appeared in the comments.
Federico Dimarco praised his former teammate directly. “Great Aleksandar, fantastic brace,” the Inter wing-back wrote.

In response, Stankovic replied with Dimarco’s personalised San Siro chant, a gesture that caught the attention of supporters.
Meanwhile, speculation around Stankovic’s long-term future continues to grow.
Inter are closely tracking his development, while performances like this strengthen his case.
For now, Stankovic remains focused on his loan spell. However, if his rise continues, the path back to Inter Milan looks increasingly realistic.

Refreshing to be linked to younger players and not some epl retirees
The level in Belgium is very low.We have seen players do well in France for example and struggle in Italy. One to keep an eye on for the future.
Nah, Sucic came from Croatian league and he can already compete for starting place at half-season. Stankovic is one of the best midfielders in Belgium league and could probably get starting place even this summer. Many top clubs are scouting him for summer if we don’t activate buyback clause.
Fully agree.
he was great in UCL also
He is a DM who scores goals. He can be our replacement for Hakan eventually.
Agreeee…….. please Inter FC, bring him back and make him as Calhanoglu’s deputy
