Serie A heavyweights Inter Milan are reportedly lining up a summer move for highly rated Atalanta star Marco Palestra.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the player’s substantial €40 million price tag has not deterred the Nerazzurri.
Marco Palestra has established himself as one of the most exciting prospects in Serie A this season.
Indeed, the 20-year-old wingback has flourished during his loan stint at Cagliari, racking up a goal and four assists in 21 league appearances.
Inter Milan Plot Summer Swoop for Marco Palestra

Cristian Chivu’s men are determined to find a reliable long-term replacement for Dutch superstar Denzel Dumfries.
With the 29-year-old’s future at San Siro hanging in the balance, the Nerazzurri have identified Palestra as a potential replacement.
However, the Italian prodigy won’t come cheap.
Aware of Palestra’s potential, Atalanta have slapped a staggering €40 million price tag on their sought-after teenager.
Furthermore, La Dea already turned down several offers for Palestra last summer.
Indeed, AC Milan and Juventus had reportedly tried to lure the youngster away from Bergamo but to no avail.

I say get him. only if oaktree wants to build quality youngsters. jakirovic is awesome like seriously. I hope he can prove his worth. another italian I’d like to mention is camarda, but we have enough strikers
Why are you betting so much on a right winger whose quality is not yet clear? If you really want to improve the quality (assuming that the current right winger is considered to be of poor quality), you should recruit Alexander Arnold, or another player who has good passing quality and good abilities in attacking and defending.
Mmmnope…Palestra. Watch some cagliari game. Then we’ll talk about quality that is proven or not
Just watching one match is not a real benchmark to judge, I see him in terms of playing characteristics, this player is indeed quite good at dribbling, but he does not have the habit of providing high crosses with good accuracy like Dimarco and Bastoni often do on the left side, this player is not much different from Dumfries, Henrique, or Buchanan.
TAA does not have good defensive abilities. Also, it doesn’t take a keen eye to state that we should recruit the most expensive fullback in the world from Real Madrid’s starting 11.
Italian teams have to be realistic about finances now and that means taking chances on unproven players and getting world-class players when they are over 30.
Of course, we don’t have to sign the most expensive player, but I think for the right side we need a player with characteristics like Dimarco who has a habit of providing good long crosses to the attackers.
I’m still for options on right side to be Mingueza and Zanotti. Mingueza is a proper attacking wb, on expiring contract and Real is enquiring for him so we are on a tight schedule. And Zanotti is our youth so he won’t need adjusting period. He’s in excellent form so hopefully he’ll be impressive for us as well. Swiss league seems like an excellent league to send our youngsters on loan, or with buyback option. Dima and Stankovic did well there, now Zanotti also.
Luis got his chance and showed absolutely nothing, Dumfries is now frequently prone to injuries, weak form before it and wants to leave.
Finally a rumor about a decent player.
Stop considering and start taking action by signing ✍️ damn players
Why not sign Bellanova. 40 million Palesta is too expensive for young player.
as we “consider” this and that player, and taking months to wrap up a deal over a certain Mlacic, it’s been reported that Milan is finalizing a deal to bring in Mario Gila!
The kid is really good. We should get him soon
40m wtf are these people smoking?!?
They are smoking EPL money.
It’s Atalanta what did you expect?
Why not sign Bellanova. 10 million + Asslani for Bellanova
I really hope we let Bellanova go because he wanted to leave to start elsewhere. His potential was obvious. Same with Gosens. He was direct and aggressive and productive. We only let him leave because he wanted more playing time
