Inter Milan outcast Tomas Palacios is reportedly on the verge of joining Argentine outfit Estudiantes on loan until the end of the season.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInter1908, the South American giants will have an option to purchase the young defender in June.
Tomas Palacios swapped his boyhood club, Independiente Rivadavia, for Inter in the summer of 2024 for a reported fee of €6.5 million.
Despite showing plenty of promise at Estadio Bautista Gargantini, the 22-year-old has never managed to find his footing at San Siro.
Inter Milan Flop Tomas Palacios Set to Join Estudiantes on Loan

Inter unsuccessfully tried to offload Palacios last summer.
However, the Argentine youngster turned down several foreign offers, including a decent proposal from Brazilian side Santos.
Even though Palacios was hopeful of staying in Milan until the summer, he’s now one step away from linking up with Estudiantes.
Indeed, the Argentine club will sign the forgotten center-back on a six-month loan with an option to buy.
Meanwhile, Inter are hoping to recoup their investment, though it’ll likely hinge on Palacios’ form in the Primera Division.
