Serie A giants Inter Milan have reportedly seen their opening bid for Moussa Diaby turned down by Al-Ittihad.
According to RMC Sport via FCInter1908, Inter’s loan offer has faleln short of the Saudi Pro League outfit’s expectations.
Moussa Diaby has emerged as a concrete target for the Nerazzurri amid the club’s ongoing pursuit of Denzel Dumfries successor.
Furthermore, the player has already discussed a move to San Siro with Inter manager Cristian Chivu, agreeing to join the Serie A leaders.
However, Inter must persuade Al-Ittihad to greenlight the transfer.
Al-Ittihad Reject Inter Milan First Offer for Moussa Diaby

Al-Ittihad parted with €60 million to lure the French winger to the desert in the summer of 2024.
Therefore, they’re now expecting to receive the same figure to paid Aston Villa around 18 months ago.
Meanwhile, Inter had hoped to sign the 26-year-old on loan with a €35 million buyout option.
Unfortunately, the Saudis have deemed the Nerazzurri’s proposal insufficient.
Though Inter can rely on the player’s desire to join, they’ll likely need to increase their bid if they’re to get the deal over the line.

just save the budget for Nico paz! Henrique/Diouf/Darmian can cover until Dumfries back to line up
he would easily be the fastest player in Italy.reminds me of frimpong.
Jonathan Biabiany lol
Pls keep on persuading this guy he is an ex prem winger and has experience in the top leagues.why are we always afraid to invest on players that are already have a reputation ?
cause many Inter fans active on this forum prefer mediocre player over good ones thinking that mediocrity should be our trade mark. Why is that so, I have no idea..
What an idiotic comment. As if us, the fans have a say on who Inter will buy.
we have invested in young players, including Henrique, Sucic, Diouf, before them Aslani, Palacios, Carboni, etc and hone of them have grown into a big player, may be a couple might become good but the others will just wane into oblivion. Good young players cost money we don’t want to pay, that’s the issue.
What a medicore player. What happened to investing in young players? Why are we going for players that are either over their prime players that chose money over europe?
Villa fans don’t think he is “mediocre”
He’s a far better attacking option than anything we have right now and actually has some pace and a point to prove.
I’d prefer 35m on someone like this than 25m on players like Diouf.
We’re not used to making big transfers; anything above €25 million is considered too much for us. Other big European clubs operate on a completely different level. What’s surprising is that we keep hearing about record income over the past few years, yet we’ve been unable to turn that into real market power. Not sure how good this guy is, most likely better thank Henrique, Diouf, Sucic & co. but the fact is that no good player will come cheap.
