Inter Milan stars Nicolo Barella and Hakan Calhanoglu are reportedly hoping to recover for the upcoming Serie A clash against Juventus.

According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the midfield duo is desperate to feature in the heavily anticipated Derby d’Italia.

Cristian Chivu’s side will take on their bitter rivals in a high-stakes Serie A showdown on February 15.

Moreover, Inter will seek revenge for a frustrating 4-3 defeat in September’s reverse fixture.

In the meantime, they’ll face Cremonese and Sassuolo in their next two league matches.

It’s now a near-certainty that Hakan Calhanoglu will not return to action before mid-February.

Indeed, the Turkish playmaker has been in the pits since suffering a calf injury in Inter’s 2-2 home draw against Napoli.
