Inter Milan outcast Kristjan Asllani is reportedly on the verge of joining Super Lig side Besiktas on loan for the rest of the season.

According to the Italian media via FCInterNews, the 23-year-old could complete his transfer by the end of the day.

New manager Cristian Chivu forced the former Empoli man to leave San Siro in the summer, sidelining him from his project.

Despite offering the player a chance to get his career back on track, Torino have decided to terminate his loan spell earlier this month.

Therefore, Kristjan Asllani is now one step away from leaving Serie A for the first time in his career.

Besiktas may not be able to sign Luis Henrique, but they’ll still do business with Inter this winter.

Indeed, they’ve agreed terms for Asllani’s loan arrival, with the midfielder expected to fly to Turkey later today.

Meanwhile, Besiktas will cover the Albanian’s wages in the second half of the season.
