Talks between Inter Milan and Genoa over the transfer of Brooke Norton-Cuffy have reportedly reached ‘advanced stages.’
According to Sky Sport Italia via FCInter1908, the clubs are negotiating a deal for the Englishman’s move to San Siro.
With time becoming a factor, Inter cannot afford to waste more time in their pursuit of a long-term replacement for Denzel Dumfries.
Despite attempting to bring Moussa Diaby back from Saudi Arabia, the San Siro outfit have seen their bid rejected by Al-Ittihad.
Therefore, they’ve switched their attention to an old target.

Inter have been monitoring Norton-Cuffy’s progress at Stadio Luigi Ferraris for months.
However, they’ve faced stiff competition for the Englishman’s signature.
This as AC Milan, Juventus, and Everton have all been inked with a move for the former Arsenal player.
Unfazed by the competition, Cristian Chivu’s men have now intensified talks to lure the 22-year-old to Giuseppe Meazza.
Furthermore, talks are reportedly in ‘advanced stages’ as per the report. Inter are working to wrap up the deal quickly. This in order to beat the competition to the Genoa player’s signature.
He’s a typical hard-working player, very similar to Lautaro. If we can sign him, I’m sure he’ll be a great partner for Lautaro.
He’s the right wing-back Inter should buy. He’s got excellent technical ability, a strong physique, good passing accuracy, is a skilled runner, has equally good defensive and attacking abilities, and the added bonus is that he’s already familiar with Serie A.

At least with Diaby we would have some attacking upside and pace. Still not sure he’d fit the system but we’d score more goals and he can at least cross / pass / run past people.

Do you know Henrique was one of our first summer signing? He was not signed as a settlement for anyone. He and Sucic signed early in the season. It was Diouf we settled for when Lookman could not go through. You need to cut Henrique some slack, it is his first season and he has been very good defensively, just for him to adapt more and we see more of his attacking output.
This guy is definitely nowhere better than Henrique, and his first year would be probably worst because he would need to adapt but since inter fan have zero patience then they will start whining again. Let Henrique time to grow, just as Zielinski and Dumfrie did
I 100 percent agree with you. Let Henrique adapt and he will perform next season. Qhy we getting this mediocre player from Genoa unless we ate moving to a back 4 with Henrique as a wing forward.
Henrique has the top 3 sprint speed in the whole champion league. It’s just not adapted into this Inter team. His speed now is mostly seen in the chasing back on defense. Maybe give him sometime to adapt into the team play style. I think management saw the old issue which team lacks of speed, dribble, and I think that’s why they brought Bucannan, Zalewiski and Henrique(all of these 3 players top speed is over 33km/h). However, for the team play style, these players normally struggled to adapt into it. Then management has to get rid of them. So it is really frustrating here, that management see the issue and tried to bring solution, but always ended not well. They should consider a different way.
I mean i’d rather palestra tbh… just wait it out in the summer. But Norton Cuffy is not a bad option so can’t really complain. Just like Palestra more.
