Inter are growing more confident of striking a deal with Al-Ittihad for Moussa Diaby as talks enter a decisive phase.
The negotiations have taken a step forward after a tweak in the transfer formula, according to Di Marzio.
The French winger remains a specific request from Cristian Chivu as the coach looks to strengthen his options out wide before the window closes.
Diaby has already made it clear he is keen on the move to Milan, but the Saudi club had previously rejected Inter’s proposal of a loan with a €35 million option to buy.
Inter Optimism Growing For Al-Ittihad Diaby Deal

Now, however, optimism is increasing.
According to Sky Sport, Inter have adjusted their offer structure in a way that could help unlock the situation.
The proposal on the table is still based on a loan with an option, but that option could become an obligation under certain conditions.
Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio provided the latest update on X, writing: “Confidence is increasing: the offer now is a loan with an option to buy that can turn into an obligation under certain conditions. The final decision from PIF is expected today.”
That final approval from the Saudi ownership group remains the key step.
If the green light arrives, Inter could quickly move to close the deal and hand Chivu the attacking reinforcement he has been waiting for.

I genuinely wanna know
why are we so ahh at the mercato
for the last few years our rivals have been spending money left and right while we can’t even sign an unknown 16 yo Croatian and a 37 yo Ivan Petisic
is it Marotta and Ausilio fault or oaktree’s fault?
Probably not. That must be just the media. The strategy is clear: buy young players with room to grow and increase their value. Only sign older players if its a free transfer. The rest is just the media trying to make money from clicks. Plus davide doesnt even play so we dont need a replacement. Manu can step in that role when needed. We need rwb cause mateo and denzel are injury prone. And that that.
He’s 26 though so not quite young or old. And a specific request, the frenchmen have been doing well and he brings speed and dribbles so my fingers are crossed hoping for this.
But he already went to Saudi for money putting a huge drop of his skill level.
Maybe but there are a lot of high level mercenary footballers out there. I’m not sure what his level is but for a lot of people (wives included) the culture out there isn’t ideal, even though the money is.
