Inter Milan goalkeeper Yann Sommer registered another clean sheet yesterday as the Nerazzurri beat Cremonese 2-0 on the road.

According to the Italian media via L’Interista, the 37-year-old star delivered a reassuring performance at Stadio Giovanni Zini.

Yann Sommer has entered the final six months of his contract at San Siro, with Inter unlikely to offer him a new deal.

Though he’ll probably leave the club at the end of the season, the former Bayern Munich ace remains Cristian Chivu’s first-choice keeper.

Sommer registered his 21st Serie A start of 2025/26 yesterday, keeping his 11th clean sheet.

Despite Cremonese’s notorious scoring problems, Davide Nicola’s side put the veteran star to the test several times.

Indeed, Sommer had to make a crucial interception to prevent Jamie Vardy from drawing the home side level in the first half.

Furthermore, he also thwarted Federico Bonazzoli’s attempt, similarly to what he did against Karim Adeyemi on Wednesday.

Therefore, it’s fair to say that Sommer has returned to form after a rough patch.
