Serie A heavyweights Inter Milan had spent most of the January transfer window trying to bring PSV Eindhoven veteran Ivan Perisic back to San Siro.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInter1908, the Nerazzurri were even ready to offer Peasants a minor compensation fee to close the deal.
Inter Milan chiefs would want to forget the January transfer session as soon as possible.
Indeed, they had spent most of the winter on a wild goose chase.
From Joao Cancelo to Moussa Diaby, Inter pursued numerous targets, only for every negotiation to stall or collapse.
Inter Milan Were Ready to Offer PSV Minor Transfer Fee to Sign Ivan Perisic

Despite entering the autumn of his playing career, Ivan Perisic emerged as one of Inter’s top priorities.
However, PSV never had any interest in offloading the former Tottenham Hotspur winger.
Even with the Dutch Eredivisie title in the bag, Peter Bosz’s men quickly turned down Inter’s approach for the 37-year-old.
Indeed, only a substantial offer would’ve changed PSV’s minds, but Inter were not ready to shell out a sum matching Perisic’s value.

There’s no doubt Ivan would have helped this team for 6 months.
At least now we have to give Henrique a fighting chance. I think he only lacks confidence which one can only gain through experience. He has technical and creative potential. Very different from Dumfries who is solid at running channels, low crosses and finishing. Henrique could actually provide more against the low-block if he starts believing in himself.
How many fighting chance(s) does Henrique needs to be given. He showed some fire in the last two matches because of the embarrassment of the Pisa match. Out of all the new players he got the most chances and did nothing in those chances compared to Susic, Diouf and Bony FACTS. Inter know now Darmian is back and hopefully soon Dumfries will be back soon so unless Henrique conjure up a miracle his Inter career is basically over. Inter also hope the decision to not get a cover on that side doesn’t come back to bite them but the Henrique is only an Inter player because the transfer season is closed and will be the first to go If inter management still have some brain cells in their heads. He’s mediocre at best just like Asllani
It’s about talent evaluation. You can judge him now without the ability to see his future. You would have sold Dimarco 6 years ago. He may not ever gain the confidence he needs but your negativity will not be of any use to Inter. We’ll see what happens.
