Serie A pacesetters Inter Milan could reportedly still sign Al-Ittihad superstar Moussa Diaby in the final hours of the transfer window.

According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInter1908, the Italians remain hopeful of landing the Frenchman.

Moussa Diaby has reportedly agreed to join Inter following a phone conversation with Cristian Chivu.

However, Inter have been unable to find an agreement with Al-Itthad.

Indeed, the Saudi Pro League giants have turned down Inter’s loan bid for the player they paid €60 million for in 2024.

Time has become a factor, with the January transfer window set to close at 19.00 CET today.

As such, Inter must step up their pursuit of the former Aston Villa winger if they’re to beat the clock.

Meanwhile, they’re unwilling to change the deal structure.

Indeed, Inter would only sign Diaby on loan until December with an option to buy.

That’s unlikely to meet Al-Ittihad’s expectations, given that the Saudis have no intention of selling the Frenchman in a cut-price deal.
