Bayern Munich are reportedly keeping a close eye on Inter Milan defender Yann Aurel Bisseck as they begin shaping their future plans at the back.
According to reports from German outlet Sport1, via FCInterNews, the Bavarian giants have added Bisseck to their shortlist of potential defensive reinforcements.
At this stage, however, there have been no direct contacts with either the player or Inter, with Bayern still in the monitoring phase as they evaluate multiple profiles.
The Bundesliga champions are exploring centre-back options despite receiving a positive signal from Dayot Upamecano over a contract renewal.
Bayern Look To Inter Man Bisseck To Strengthen Defence

With that situation moving in the right direction, Bayern are still keen to strengthen and refresh their defensive department, particularly with an eye on the long term.
Bisseck’s name has emerged alongside another highly rated youngster, Luka Vuskovic. The 18-year-old is currently at Hamburg on loan from Tottenham Hotspur and is considered one of the most promising defensive talents in Europe.
For Bayern, this is very much a phase of information gathering rather than active negotiation. For Inter, meanwhile, interest from one of Europe’s biggest clubs underlines Bisseck’s growing reputation after establishing himself as a reliable option in Simone Inzaghi’s defensive rotations.
Whether Bayern’s interest develops into something more concrete will likely depend on how their internal renewal talks and summer priorities evolve in the coming months.
Tactically speaking he is the most improved player at Inter. Those saying he can’t defend doesn’t understand the dynamics of playing in a back 3.If Inter switches to a back four he would do well.
This guy will develop in world class defender, it will be a big mistake to let him go.
Agreed. The trolls on here who can only see a couple mistakes don’t understand what young player development looks like.
Bisseck has been unafraid and progressive since day one.
A couple of mistakes?!!
He cannot defend, his positioning is horrendous, he has been at fault for many goals, either individual error, mistiming the flight of the ball, letting it bounce when he shouldn’t. Being beaten in the air by much smaller guys or caught far up the pitch leaving 2 old slow cbs to cover everything.,
He is far better going forward than defending and “could” develop but he will never be a top defender because he doesn’t have the basics down.
As such if someone is willing to offer big money then we should cash in.
I don’t dislike the guy and think he’s a good option as back up but he’s not anywhere near good enough to rely upon unless we sell Bastoni and have 2 stat at home cbs
you dont dislike him and just trashed him.. imagine if u actually disliked him LOL.
i like him ALOT. His errors often appear when we sat deep only. But in open play he is a beast and under chivu he has been much more stable than inzaghi
Agree, at the start of the season i was critical of him, but as the season goes further, he’s showing better and better performances. If he continues like this and improve his defending skills we have another secure starter alongside Bastoni for the next 5-8 years.
All defenders make mistakes. They are highlighted by the fact that there is no one behind them.
You are cherry-picking because you WANT him to fail.
This is what youth development looks like. They are going to make mistakes as they learn. Defenders mature later than forwards because their job is to anticipate rather than initiate.
We are still winning while allowing a few younger players to develop and recover from mistakes.
All these negative people on here who want ”young” players because Acerbi and Mikhi and DeVrij are “grandpas” but then expect a team full of 21-26 year olds to perform like seasoned, world class veterans.
He doesn’t just do mistakes. He can’t freaking defend, he’s always 2 steps behind his opponents. Chivu doesn’t even use him in big games because he is very weak.
Player development. Chivu is introducing him slowly. He is playing a lot this year, including big games.
For every mistake he makes there is a shot blocked, a header out of the box, an entire game of shutting down Leao.
Take this same standard and apply it to Bastoni or Dimarco and tell me you want to sell them, too.
