Inter Milan charge at the top of Serie A is being powered by numbers that underline just how dominant their attacking phase has become as they hunt down the Scudetto.

The Nerazzurri have scored 52 goals in 23 league matches so far, 13 more than the second-best attack in the division, as noted by FCInter1908.

It is a remarkable return that reflects not just individual quality, but a collective attacking structure that has grown even more aggressive since the change on the bench.

Under Cristian Chivu, Inter have raised their defensive line and committed more bodies forward, transforming their build-up into a more proactive and less speculative approach.

The result is a team that creates more than anyone else in the league, with over 45 expected goals, four more than Juventus, who sit second in that ranking, while AC Milan trail in third on 38.86.

Despite Slow January, Inter Milan Still On Track For Scudetto

The January window brought no reinforcements despite an emergency on the right flank, yet Inter’s rhythm has not slowed.

Chivu‘s side continue to cover ground and produce chances as if they were not missing one of their key outlets since mid-November. That resilience highlights the strength of the squad’s foundations.

Inter have created 99 big chances, a staggering 32 more than Milan and 34 more than Juventus. Crucially, they are no longer just prolific in chance creation, but also more clinical.

Their conversion rate stands at 12.4%, the best in the league, ahead of Milan and Cagliari on 12.2% and 11.9% respectively.
