Luis Henrique and his performance in Inter Milan’s dramatic 3-2 win over Juventus has sparked fresh debate about his consistency.
After impressing in the previous league outing with a lively cameo, expectations were higher for the Brazilian winger in the Derby d’Italia.
He appeared to start brightly, with a cross that indirectly led to Andrea Cambiaso’s own goal.
However, the positive impact quickly faded and the media were critical in their assessment.
Inter Milan 3-2 Juventus – Luis Henrique ‘Falling Asleep’

Henrique switched off during Juventus’ equalizer, allowing Cambiaso to ghost past him far too easily and restore parity.
Several outlets described the moment as him “falling asleep,” highlighting a lapse in concentration that nearly proved costly.
The Italian press reflected that disappointment in their ratings, as noted by L’Interista.
Gazzetta dello Sport awarded him a 5, while Corriere dello Sport, Tuttosport, TMW, and L’Interista all settled on 5.5.
While Inter ultimately secured the victory, Henrique’s timid display raised questions about which version of the winger Cristian Chivu can rely on moving forward.

Zielenski, Susic and Bisseck are our defense liabilities.
Add an aging Acerbi and Sommer to above group and you will have a full picture of defense problem.
Thanks God we have Calhanoglu, Mhiki, Barrela, Dimarco and Carlos
How come this guy gets blamed but the same guy at CB who is always there doing nothing is immune?! Because he’s tall? It’s an absolute joke,
Henrique should have done better but the protection Bisseck gets when he just makes the same stupid mistakes game after game, which have been saying for months – he can’t defend, he doesn’t understand the role, he stands still and ball watches, this is another perfect example of this.
Any half decent CB puts their foot through that and sticks it into row Z.
It’s 2 poor mistakes from 2 players BUT it’s ALWAYS Bisseck!!!
It was Zelenski, our modern “hero” who failed to block the cross and guard his men.
You seriously are blaming Zielinski? He’s been our best midfielder this season, he scored the winning goal and it wasn’t his fault. Bisseck or Henrique should’ve cleared the ball but they didn’t. Ff man some fans on this platform hand out the most idiotic blames to players that play good
// You seriously are blaming Zielinski? He’s been our best midfielder this season,//
Only against the weak teams … Zielenski does not play defense or makes a horrible errors.
That is why Inzaghi was not happy with him.
Chivi likes him, because he is good attacking midfielder…. who compensates Thuram and Martinez deficiency.
And by no means is he our best midfielder.
Just place our midfielders on the market and check out who will draw more attention…it will be Barrela or Chalhanoglu !
dude chose the number 11 and you complain he can’t defend? cmon
It wasn’t just him, but Bisek was also to blame. Both were hoping to secure the ball. Bisek should have secured it but let it go, hoping Luis Henrique would be behind him, unaware of Cambiaso. Luis Henrique, on the other hand, hoped Bisek would secure the ball. This is the problem with Inter’s back line so far: the defenders sometimes lose concentration and the defensive coordination has decreased compared to the previous season. This is the homework that Chivu must fix.
