Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has reportedly agreed personal terms with runaway Serie A leaders Inter Milan.
According to Spanish outlet Chiringuito via FCInterNews, the Argentine manager has struck a pre-contract agreement with the Nerazzurri.
Diego Simeone is the longest-serving manager in Europe’s traditional top-five leagues.
Indeed, the 55-year-old has been in charge of Los Colchoneros since 2011, leading the club to seven major trophies in Spain and Europe.
However, his adventure in Madrid could soon come to a halt.
Atletico Madrid Boss Diego Simeone Agrees Terms with Inter Milan

Simeone’s contract at the Metropolitano Stadium runs out in 2027.
With Atletico Madrid staring down the barrel of another trophyless season, the former midfielder could be on his way out in the summer.
Meanwhile, Simeone spent two years at San Siro during his playing career, wearing Inter colors between 1997 and 1999.
Furthermore, he has never hidden his love for the club.
Now, he could return to his old stomping ground in a different capacity.
Even though Cristian Chivu is on the verge of winning the Scudetto in his first year at the helm, Simeone could soon replace him in the dugout.
I cannot understand. Are the Inter administration so naive to discard Mister Chivu at this delicate period of the season?? is Dot Marotta crazy? I do not believe so.
This news is simply a distraction, perhaps intended to shift Inter Milan’s focus in preparing the 2nd-leg UCL play-off. Chivu is doing extremely well this season. Forza, Inter!
im disappointed at sempreinter for posting such G@rb!*ge.
What the hell? Now that Chivu shining? I’d be very happy for this before the season started.
Stupid BS
Liar
I laugh
We don’t need an ultra defensive coach that will earn 20m a year, Due to our limited budget we are good with Chivu who can develop our youth team players and still guarantee minimum objectives for the season without breaking the bank.
come on…even clickbait has its limits.. would love to see simeone as a coach in the future.. but chivu is doing a fine job at 1/5th simeones salary.
Garbage, nonsense, stupid!
he must still improve and aim to win a silverware before departure and leave the club in a competitive mode, then he would be welcomed
Lmao whoever wrote this needs a slap to the back of the head asap. Chivu is going nowhere anytime soon and Marotta has stated he is for the long term. Don’t start any BS with these ridiculous articles.
I think our management is preparing extension for Chivu. There’s dozen of reasons not to sign simeone. The timing isn’t right, his wage demands etc.
Some spanish outlet got payed to try and destabilize our team. Yeah, but no.
Month early isn’t it?
Absolute nonsense
Id say this is fake news. Also rather see Fabregas or Xabi over Simeone.
Of course, Simeone is a long-desired manager, and his personality seems like a perfect fit for Inter. But is this the right time to discuss him? Certainly not, as Chivu seems more suitable for the helm. Even if the team improves further under Chivu’s guidance, he’s certainly more deserving of a longer-term stay than taking another gamble on something uncertain.
Who comes up with this utter drivel?? Honestly, this site is losing credibility by the day…. Best thing I’ve done in ages is go elsewhere for matchday interaction with actual Inter fans!
Where do you go for match day? I much rather be there with you
Huh? Is it April 1st already?
What kind of bs post is this?
