Carlos Augusto returns to Inter Milan’s starting XI as the Nerazzurri prepare to face Genoa at San Siro.
Cristian Chivu rotates his squad following Champions League elimination, with the Brazilian stepping in for the suspended Bastoni.
The Nerazzurri lost to Bodo/Glimt at San Siro during the week and crashed out of the Champions League as a result of the performance.
Now, the club can instead focus on domestic goals.
Inter Vs Genoa – Carlos Augusto Back In Starting XI

According to Corriere dello Sport, Carlos Augusto slots into the back three alongside Bisseck and Akanji.
In midfield, Barella and Zielinski are joined by either Mkhitaryan or Sucic. Nicolo Barella returns after suspension, which is a welcome boost.
Up front, Esposito and Thuram are expected to start.
Bonny is pushing hard for a place, though, and could yet force his way into the XI.
Dimarco is predicted to start at left wing-back, with Luis Henrique continuing on the right.
Probable Inter XI (3-5-2): Sommer; Bisseck, Akanji, Carlos Augusto; Luis Henrique, Barella, Zielinski, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Esposito, Thuram.
