Denzel Dumfries and Hakan Calhanoglu are both back in the Inter Milan squad for Saturday’s Serie A clash with Genoa.

Neither man looks likely to start, but their presence on the bench gives Cristian Chivu welcome options.

Dumfries made his comeback against Bodo/Glimt but needs more time before reclaiming his starting spot. Luis Henrique continues on the right.

On the left, Carlos Augusto comes in to give Federico Dimarco a rest after a gruelling week.

Calhanoglu trained fully with the group for two straight days.

That is a positive sign, but Gazzetta suggest Chivu will exercise caution and ease him back gradually rather than throwing him straight in from the off.

In defence, Bastoni serves his suspension and Lautaro Martinez remains injured. Francesco Acerbi steps back into the starting XI between Bisseck and Akanji.

Up front, Bonny starts, with Thuram and Pio Esposito fighting for the second striking role.
