Inter Milan have renewed their interest in Como midfielder Maximo Perrone, with the former Manchester City man emerging as a potential summer target as the Nerazzurri plan a midfield overhaul ahead of next season.

The 2003-born Argentine has been one of the standout performers in Como’s impressive Serie A campaign.

He has played a central role in the club’s push for a top-four finish.

Inter have been monitoring Perrone since last season.

According to reports from L’Interista, his name sits on the list of potential deep-lying playmaker options being considered by the club’s recruitment team.

However, the interest is closely tied to Hakan Calhanoglu’s uncertain future.

The Turkish midfielder’s contract expires in June 2027, and with no renewal agreed, a summer departure remains possible.

Should Calhanoglu leave Appiano Gentile, Perrone is viewed as one of the profiles capable of filling that role.

Como, however, will not make this easy.

The club considers Perrone a cornerstone of their project and his market value already exceeds €30 million.

They have no intention of selling cheaply.
