Inter Milan are preparing for a summer of significant upheaval, with the club potentially raising over €100 million through player sales on top of five further departures on free transfers as a wide-ranging squad overhaul takes shape.
According to Tuttosport, Bastoni, Dumfries, Frattesi, Calhanoglu and Thuram are all players who could leave the club for a fee this summer.
Either because their cycle at Inter is coming to an end or because they are seeking a new challenge.
The five free departures are equally significant.
Sommer, Acerbi, De Vrij, Darmian and Mkhitaryan all see their contracts expire, with only backup goalkeeper Di Gennaro currently confirmed as staying.
Oaktree Promise Adequate Budget For Inter Milan As Thuram, Dumfries & Calhanoglu Sales Could Swell Transfer Funds Further
Oaktree have assured the Inter hierarchy that an adequate transfer budget will be available regardless of outgoings.
Player sales, however, could inflate that figure considerably.
Dumfries carries a €25 million release clause.
Frattesi is almost certain to leave and should command €30-35 million.
Calhanoglu remains a long-standing Galatasaray target.
Bastoni is valued at a minimum of €70 million with Barcelona’s interest well documented, though no formal negotiations have begun between the clubs.
Thuram’s situation is more conditional.
An offer of around €60 million would be enough to open the door to a sale, with the France forward’s difficult season making the club increasingly open to moving him on.
The potential scale of this summer’s activity is enormous, and Inter are already planning accordingly.

Surely an English / Saudi or PSG would offer 50m for Thuram. Especially if he can score a couple of goals before June.
Barcelona will absolutely never offer 70-80m for Bastoni. Thuram, however- some EPL club will give 45 which is a great deal for us.
I think Inter will start next season with a lot of young players. Chivu will likely use his signature 3421 Highpressing formation. With the possibility of many new faces on the team, that’s when the fans’ patience will be tested.
Yeah, I think 3-4-2-1 is coming. We’ll probably sign a goalie, a CB, a shadow striker/10, and another crack at a RWB
Henrique will go out on loan/option to buy. Diouf and Bonny will get time behind the striker. Thuram and will be sold. Mikhi, Acerbi, De Vrij, Sommer, Darmian will be gone.
I think a surprise might be that Fratessi stays and plays a lot in one of the advance midfield roles. He has a motor and a nose for goal.
