Serie A giants AC Milan are reportedly interested in signing former Inter star Raoul Bellanova in the summer.

According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri have already opened talks with the player’s agent over a potential summer move.

Raoul Bellanova spent the 2022/23 season on loan at San Siro from Cagliari.

Furthermore, he was part of the squad that won the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana titles under Simone Inzaghi.

Bellanova even featured in the fateful UEFA Champions League final against Manchester City in 2023.

However, Inter refused to trigger a buyout clause for the 25-year-old in the summer of 2023.

Bellanova has flourished since leaving Inter.

Indeed, after a superb 2023/24 season at Torino, he moved to Atalanta in a deal worth €25 million.

However, the Italian wingback has lost his starting berth in Bergamo under Raffaele Palladino this season.

Having made just 12 Serie A starts, Bellanova is open to leaving the New Balance Arena in the summer.

Meanwhile, Milan are keen to sign a new wingback, even though Alexis Saelemaekers has fared reasonably well this term.

Therefore, they’ve already informed Bellanova’s agent of their intention to bring the Italian back to San Siro in the summer.
