Inter midfielder Nicolo Barella was all smiles after the Nerazzurri’s 4-1 victory over Cremonese at San Siro, a win that saw Cristian Chivu’s side reclaim top form with an emphatic performance thanks to a goal and three assists from summer signing Ange-Yoan Bonny.
The French starlet made his first start for the Nerazzurri in the win and dazzled with his mature display in front of the San Siro crowd.
“Today we rediscovered some mechanisms that we’d lost a bit,” Barella told DAZN after the match, with quotes via FCInterNews.
“To play games like this, you need confidence and the right condition – and we’ve found it. We’re happy. We tried to be more vertical and we had fun, that’s the most important thing.”
Barella Thankful For Inter New Boy Bonny After Star Performance Against Cremonese

When asked about his goal assisted by Bonny, Barella explained:
“My instinct has always been to set up teammates rather than chase personal glory. But in some moments, like on my goal, you have to shoot.
“I’m happy and I thank Bonny. Since he arrived, he’s always given his best and fit perfectly into the group. We needed that energy and joy.”
Bonny followed Cristian Chivu in the summer, making the jump from Parma to Inter.
The Frenchman signed for the Nerazzurri on a five-year deal, with Inter paying the Gialloblu side around €25 million for his services.
And his audacious scorpion flick in midfield? Barella laughed: “Those things are instinctive – when you’re enjoying yourself, everything comes naturally.”
we have also played perfectly good against Juventus…. only what make the performance forgettable is the outcome of the match…. should we beat juve on that day…. it will take a long time before pundits and analysts stop talking about……..
the positive for chivu is that inter do good against small clubs now without giving the fans worry about wasting points. I sincerely congratulate him since I didn’t expect him to have winning streaks this far early season though we haven’t seen big challenges after losing to rube. I can’t wait to see how he adjust the team against big clubs
