Keep other starters and bring some serious lads to cover up fullbacks, midfielders and wings.

Handa,Miranda,Murillo,Perisic,Brozovic,Icardi and Kondogbia are our best players and if we are to sell all of them to buy new ones i don’t see a point because every team needs time to gel and develop good understanding beetwen each other and,imo,that is maybe the most important aspect of building a team ’cause you can spend billions like Real Madrid and still not achive much if you don’t have the chemistry in your team..Every sucesfull team ever had players who were at the club for years before they were able to win something,and even if you look back at our team in 2010 we had Walter Samuel,Cesar,Stankovic,Cambiasso,Zanetti,Chivu,Maicon were all at the club for at least 3 years before 2010 campaing that brought us so much glory..
So im apsolutly against selling more then 1 of our best players,they need time together and we need to give it to them if we are ever to return to the top..

The stated scenario in the article are only players that are wanted by other clubs. if you ask me, this is rather positive. its been years since our players have been wanted by other top teams and now they are. if you relate this to i.e. FM or CM you can see that clubs want players that are performing as the players mentioned above are doing at this moment. i can almost guarantee that there won’t be an exodus of players 🙂
imo 1 or 2 big sales can and should happen, where i think brozo are destined for €15-25m sale. it would also be good for the team to get much money from older players as miranda and handa and bring in suitable players for a better long term project, although it won’t be needed in case of CL.
btw. this is the year zero. if we dont reach cl, next year will be “year 1”. we should have a solid base of good players and will only need to reinforce certain positions of the formation (i.e. LB, RB, RW, AM) compared to earlier years. mancini is doing a good job rebuilding with players and confidence and it won’t take long before inter is back where we belong.
Yes, it’s positive that we have some players performing and clearly showing something different than the likes of Jonathan etc, It’s a good indication and of course we should value that. That being said, this article plays on the whole “no CL” theme and tries to create a panic. That’s why i wrote “stupid rumors”, because I am well aware it won’t happen.
But just like you I am in favor og collecting money if the deal is right. We don’t need to hold on to players just to keep them or because of emotions like the case after our treble season. For that to happen we just need the right offer, a suitable replacement and the understanding of keeping a core in the team, so we – like mentioned before – don’t need to start from scratch.
The whole year zero comment is because we have heard the term practically every year since 2010. Starting with MM until now. Every new coach came with a project (more or less) and every time we had to listen to the whole “now we are building/creating/finding identity etc”. So for me, year zero is a loose term. But I agree that this season has been the one with the biggest investements and can be considered our starting point since the treble.

So per Sky Sports report, we will not field a team in 2017…Thats practically our entire starting lineup, I doubt we let that many players go. Jovetic and Telles is certain, Handa and Miranda I feel are almost certain, Murillo and Icardi maybe, Brozo and Perisic highly unlikely. Obv this all changes if other clubs start throwing some serious money to try and get some of our players.

I think Inter will sell Handa if not finish in CL spot then buy Sirigu and sign Bosman player Van der Wiel for cheap solution. Soriano definitely will go to Inter after sell Brozovic.
