Something has changed for the worse. The Inter defensive phase, which seemed to have become the strong point under the management Stefano Pioli, now returns to be discussed in the light of the ease with which Miranda and colleagues have conceded in the last few matches. Specifically since Torino until the derby, Inter have collected eight goals in four games. Previously, the same amount of goals had been accumulated in 13 games.

When you lose focus it very often happens in the end of a game – when you´re tired.
When Pioli arrived he criticized the state of the players and the shape they were in and he made them train twice a day. It paid of and we started to really control games, everyone was running like bunnies fighting for the guy next to him on the pitch as one unite.
Now, the players are quite often too far from their direct opponent and the players that didn’t play much under De Boer are doing better than those who have played every single game (Mario hasn’t played for a month or so and came really strong in against Milan, Candreva, Perisic, even Gagliardini and more) all of them actually seem to be tired now when playing and I think Pioli has “over-trained” the players when he arrived. Also because he has always played with the same 11-12 players game in and game out.
If the team is in a state of “over-training” all our next 6 games will be in serious danger of ending really bad for us.
Nothing has changed. The same giant slump in form that happens every year after a positive period. Yawn.
same story of this recent years.. when you have D’ambrossio, Rano, Medel, Nagatomo, Santon on the defensive line, we’re not deserve for big 4 in serie A, middle table that’s we’re belong. They are all just decent player not good or great. this is serie A, the home for great defender like Zanneti, Maldini, Thuram.
after treble era, our Upgrade for defensive line just Miranda, Murillo was inconsistent (but still upgrade than rano, juan, silvestre).
have good forward is important, but have a set of 4 defender is a must.
that’s a reality that we can’t hide from our squad, only Miranda do his job I’m still not convinced by Medel on the back.. hopefully we could get Manolas and a couple of FBs to get a better defense line the next season-
that’s sad, we can spent 40 M and 35 M for Gabi and Mario, but can’t buy a good defender for just 15 M (ansaldi, Miranda, Murillo, Dumbo are not more than 15 M). the price was not always represent the quality, but that’s show how much the management care about the defensive area, the cheap one..
medel was limited, too short, he is not cordoba. I hope we can get manolas or another experienced star player like miranda, because this area need an immediate impact from new player.
