In the last couple of days, rumours have been suggesting that Ever Banega is on his way back to Seville, his last team before signing with Inter last season. Does the salaries count in regards to FFP? – Then selling Banega and Jovetic combined with their salaries (6,5m€ per season) would give more than 30m€. 9m€ for Banega is low though, but better to get something instead of letting him rot on the bench and collect 3m€ per season.

He is a good player for us. Can pass, score, got good FK, keep the ball, you name it. We had much better runs with Banega than JM at midfield.

On the topic of Jovetic I think it does make sense. He is still a quality player and deserves his price tag. He’s even worth more than we are asking tbh. Benaga came because of Zenetti however we cannot keep him just because of this! If the new coach doesn’t need him then he should go doesn’t matter who brought him here! More importantly we need to balance the books in 9 days and I’d give up Benaga any day to keep Perisic.

Business wise we are lost and it does make sense because time is not on our side with ffp. So we must not be greedy in this deal we got him FREE and maybe getting 9mil for him(Not confirmed). Don’t get me wrong I to believe he’s worth way more but no one has offered what he deserves. Buying Valero is a good player and knows the league well tho his age maybe on the wrong side.
