Ten months after the decision to leave Santos, to live the dream of playing in Europe with Inter’s shirt, Gabigol believes he has no regrets. “I do not think about that choice,” he said to Globoesporte. “I was happy with Santos, I won titles and went to a big team. The first season is always difficult, but today I am a new player, a young man, I understand Italian football better. I was happy at Santos and I will be happy at Inter. ”

This guy already won Ballon D’Or and Best Player in Europe in my Master League team.
Stay and prove yourself to the haters Gabi… Kondo is proving them wrong, you can too.
This is what I like to see in our players. He was messed about with the whole manager fiasco and still wants to prove himself in this shirt. This boy must be given playing time next season, and with Bernardeschi likely going to Juve, and us apparently not wanting to pursue Berardi, I am happy for him to be used alongside (preferably ahead of) Candreva next season.
To be fair our attack is fine and we only need to sort out our defence and finding those key passes in midfield to build up from the back (what Banega was supposed to bring to the team but apparently he wont be doing that anymore) which is why we are going for Borja Valero.
In all honesty our team is basically complete as is. All we need is a new back 4 and if Perisic should leave, a replacement. Handanovic could leave soon too so I guess our links to Schezney makes sense too.
——————————– Handanovic/Schezney
Darmian/Karsdrop??? ——- Skriner — Acerbi ——- Anyone but Nagatomo
————————— J.Mario/K.Dog — Gagliardini/B.Valero ——————-
Candreva/Gabigol ————- B.Valero/J.Mario ——— Perisic/Replacement
——————————————- Icardi
Most likely we wont be going for Acerbi but I like him as a solid and cheap(er) defensive alternative. Karsdrop seems Roma bound and United seem unwilling to sell Darmian so likely stuck with D’Ambrosio for another season which is probably better than spending 15M on some youngster from a sh*t league who will no doubt flop. At least D’Ambrosio wasn’t horrible to watch all season long. The LB position worries me. Dalbert is the main link but Nice unwilling to sell, and looks like Santon and Ansaldi are out which means you know who is all that remains… God help us if we have to put up with Nagatomo for another year… I mean we have an Italian youth international in DiMarco but seem unwilling to even consider keeping him for the season…
Well I see this being a quiet transfer window in all seriousness, and considering our team I don’t think we really need to make a huge splash anyway. The team under-performed massively and with all the chopping and changing of managers it was expected that the team wouldn’t do well. During Pioli’s run of form, I think we all got swept up in the hype and after the Torino game it all came crashing back down to reality. Just shows that the potential is there, but the attitude is not (Brozovic Out ASAP)…
Brings me back to my point about Gabi being the type of player we need. Someone who wants to do well and perform at Inter…
If you read up to this point fair play to you. Just decided to let out my small rant 🙂
Sticking with Dumbo as a starter is already fiasco. It’s horrible not only watch him, but to feel it as well. Just a cheap material. About the rest hai raggione)
dumbo, rano, yoga, biabiany. they are not Inter material, not even proper to sit behind samuel, JZ4, Maicon. but they here for years, and more years to come. they are sampdoria, pescara, palermo, catania material palyers…
I agree brozo got subbed off n tru a tantrum gabi hasn’t started 1 game n still wants to b hear…….. about ur team I think godmanovic has his sights on playing in the cl with inter …..sky report that united or willing to let darmin go I think we should press Milan for mds as he seem willing to listen to offer as Ruby r sniffing around n am sure Milan would prefer him in blue strips than black final bit candreva should b on the bench
Your sma rant very much make sense..they should hire you as freelance consultant..
Good attitude.
hope it backed up with strong will in training ground, he need to show the coach, he is ready to play, or else, it’d be useless
there was a reason rube backed down, smart rube, they really do their research on a player
What? The kid played under 2 games (9 appearances, 112mins) all season and scored 1 goal, he didn’t look out of place either. Where do you people get the conclusion he’s not good from him not playing enough. This smells like bonuses going to Santos for some reason more than him not playing well because surely there are about 20 other players that were WAY worse than him. He’s been humble and has only had 1 out burst which is completely understandable for a 20 year old kid that has this huge burden on his shoulders (his transfer price) and not being able to play to prove he’s worth it. The thing about Italian soccer is they don’t allow youngsters to play unless they are on newly promoted teams. Judge him after he’s played more than his avg 16mins/game…
He was unnecessary for us that money is hurting us with ffp
Then blame the management for it. This kid have nothing to do with every clueless decision we ever take
You’re right. I’d take him over Jovetic anyday…
i hope he isnt remembered as a fm legend only
