Interviewed by TMW Radio, Luca Marchetti spoke about Inter’s market, analyzing the strategic differences with Milan:
“The market is different from Inter and Milan, we must take account of agreements with UEFA (FFP). Inter are depending on the sale of Perisic, meanwhile, they have closed in on Vecino. Perisic did not want to leave for China according to some colleagues, possibly Keita will replace him. Inter have the entrepreneurial ability to make big signings, however, they must stay within a fence of rules blocking the negotiations. It definitely starts with a good foundation, although players have disappointed last season, as opposed to those of Milan for example. Inter will take a full-back (Dalbert), a central defender (perhaps Diop), and has already taken Borja Valero.”

I haven’t seen much of Vecino bit it looks he is better than Kondo. Keita is nowhere a replacement of Perisic but looks like at this stage not many good players want to come to Inter. Vidal, kroos, veratti and Naingolan may sound very good but it is very unlikely they will leave their clubs and miss Champions League. Our best option is to hope somehow Perisic stays. Maybe we can get Krychowick from PSG and Zappacosta from Torino.
How about no since Vecino isn’t better than Broz or Mario at all? Give Vecino money to seal Aurier and speed up Dalbert deal. For godsake, we don’t want to fight another year with our fullback clowns guarding our flanks. For the midfield, Suning have promised us at least one blockbuster transfer, either Verratti, Nainggolan or Vidal. Promise is a promise. Balde Keita and another top winger must come to cover Perisic loss.
Inter can forget about top 4 with a such a bad midfield thats for sure.

Honestly I really like vecino, he’s definitely an upgrade to kondog. But if he’s the mister X of the mid? I hope not because I expect someone in level with nainggolan and vidal. I see him more like the replacement of one of kondog or brozo if one of them get the right offer.

Vecino and Valero knows each other from Fiorentina are did really well there as two very technically strong midfielders. Vecino plays a bit deeper I think but has technic and a great shot so could be usefull behind Valero and Mario/Gagliardini… Keita/Eder on the left and Candreva/gabriel on the right and Icardi/Pinamonti on top with Dalbert Miranda, Diop (or someone else young and with huge potentiel) and Darmian on the right and we´re good
I hope we manage to get Krychowiak on loan to cover for Mario/Valero/Gagliardini/Vecino too….
We only have 1 game pr week next season so no need for a big squad and we already have a strong team, we simply need to fix the defense and midfield and we´re good enough to challenge for top 4

Vecino is not a player for inter is a player for mid table down really Diop? Vecino? Lucas? Abdennour?. Gabidol is on his way out if that the market we are will another shitty season in fact we won’t be able to move from midtable with those players, Valero is decent but can last two seasons top.
Targets and players that should made a move Berardi, Bernardeschi, Darmian/Aurier, Brandt they should have done everything to get Radja or go for Gueye underrated player but they are going for players that none other are really interested or only a phew have shown some glince Aurier/Dalbert been the exception.
I hope West Ham gets Keita plus has actitud problems decent stats but is overall player.
We don a top player an quality signings Keita might have a future and could improve… but they are going for him for other reasons an not because he was an actual target!!
Seems like our hands are tied by the FFP and will only be unlocked by a big sale (Perisic). Uefa are looking over our shoulders next season too and then we´ll be free it seems.
Keita is a trublemaker, but he´s very ambitius and has a winning attitude we need. Vecino and Valero did well togehther so maybe that´s what Sabatini wants them to contiune doing with us.
I saw highlights from our latest training game and what strock me – besides the fact Valero was everywhere oin the pitch demanding the ball, was that Gabi was VERY active in the 2nd half doing many great things. So maybe this could be his year…

I hate the FFP but we already make the amount for this year. For me is more about Sunning not doing their part of the deal they woltd that they have 200M€ for this summer an Sabitini talk more than actually delivering.
Valero was actually slow in that game at least for me. for me he has experience not the choice we were looking for and I don’t see him giving us more than 2 seasons I could be wrong but that’s what I think.
