According to Gianlucadimarzio.com, Fiorentina’s Matias Vecino is set to join Inter and the Nerazzurri will pay half of his 24M Euros release clause now and the other half next season.
Inter are also interested in Caen’s Yann Karamoh, the 19-year-old forward. Inter have offered 5M Euros but the French side is asking for 10M Euros. Santos’ Lucas Lima is also another player that Inter are trying to obtain. His contract expires in December and both parties are working on an agreement.

Comparing bBilan and us in this mercato, a lot of us still look delusional.
Bbilan has something to offer (play in EL) and we don’t have anything to, except something that would be triggering a disharmony ie bunch of salaries to the new guys. And that, imo, avoided by management.
With all this “the unknown” name from “mediocre team”, we have power of bargaining to cap their salaries.
We used to have bad mercato, signing the like of gresko, gerogatos, vampeta, and farinos, but I still support this team anyway. So please calm down

7 years is a long time and since most of the players nowadays are nothing but mercenaries, unless they have any sort of connection to Inter, they wont come here if the got a “bigger” suitor. and before someone says “but Milan got Bonucci”, well, its a bit more complicated than that. Bonocci’s kid is very sick, thats the reason he didnt want to leave Torino, but his altercations with Dybala and Allegri, plus the fact that Milan is in the vicinity helped to land this deal. their offer was just too good to reject, especially from the players’ point of view
results, financial stability and continuity will make us attractive to top players, but it wont happen overnight. too bad we are still in this phase for the 6th straight year and whenever we took a step forward, we took 2 steps back

We don’t need to revamp the whole squad. I think we all agree on that, the fans, the coach, the directors… Imo, we need 1 rb, 1 lb, 1 dm and maybe a winger or 2 if Perisic leaves. Thats 4-5 recruits to be sure that we can challenge for cl next season.
This isn’t new. I’m not gonna go as far as the dark days of Pereira Schelloto Rocchi etc.. but for 3 years now, the team is only missing those 4-5 players that can take us to the top. The new owners came in and said they have the financial muscle to make it happen and that’s their declared goal.
What pisses me off and a lot of fans, I believe, is like you said we take a step forward and two setbacks. There is no clear boss at the club, the owners really fuck up with Mancio/DeBoer fiasco, and the mercatos have been nonsense for the most part. I blame dickhead Ausilio for the later. That really pisses me off, when you think that we have a great GK, a solid DC (miranda), some good midfielders and attackers and a lethal Striker. Instead of buying just to buy players, we need buy ppl that will truly improve our weak positions. How dafuq can you bring another loser like Ansaldi when you already have a clown there. Its BS.
Lets say we can spend 150M like last season. Roma needed to sell, our coach wanted Nainggolan. Instead of wasting time having lunches all over, buy him fast for 60M before they sell rudiguer, Paredes, Mario Rui etc… With the 90M left, use 50 to get Aurier and Dalbert/Darmian. 40M left you can get a real DM that can protect the defense and if Perisic is sold, buy two more players.
Anyway, since they began by wasting time chasing ghosts like Conte, I knew it was going to be another painful mercato and Im much less confident now, even with Saba. One month is left but the more times pass by, the harder it becomes to get your main targets and Im sick of going for plan B, C, sometimes D.. like fucking ANsaldi was..

He prob was using Inter as leverage to get a better contract with Roma, which is going to happen. Now that Inter finally got a decent coach, Its a shame that there isnt more ambition in the market to really raise the player quality to top 4 material.
Perhaps they realised that jumping from 7th to top 4 would be very difficult, especially with Milan spending so much and inter not exactly being a very attractive transfer destination. Maybe thats why so many fairly irrelevant youngsters (at this time) have been brough, this Karamoh dude would fit the bill here as well.
Atleast Inter will clearly be favouites for 5th place considering Fiorentina, Lazio and Atanlanta have sold most of their best players.
