TMW Radio have reported that Chelsea are prepared to press harder for Antonio Candreva in the coming days.
Spalletti is already contacting Federico Chiesa as a possible replacement. Fiorentina are currently working on extending his contract to 2022.

Letting Candreva go to get Chiesa is an amazing deal… It would be a dream… Chiesa needs just one more season to cost as much as Bernadeschi… We can get him for much cheaper now..

If candreva and/or Perisic leaves, the repalcement(s) needs to be someone who can change a game.
We currently have no game changers in this team, no player with some x-factor who can suddenly decide a game for themselves. We have too many hard working dullards and not enough technique and brains, old man Valero wont change that single handedly.
The replacements also needs to be capable of scoring 10+ goals in a season, this is important since Inter currently dont have much goalscoring threat from the midfield.

Seems to me like:
Spaletti likes pacey winger. Doesn’t have to be a genius or good crosser as long as he is fast! We have Perisic, but might be replaced by Martial or Keita. Supported with Dalbert who is really physical and fast as well. I don’t know about the right wing both attacking or FB. Don’t think both Candreva and D’Ambrosio are pacey. I remember last year our right wing was slow and relied on a long pas or cross to the box instead of cutting inside.
So the rumour that Spaletti asked for F. Chiesa makes sense since he is a Right Attacking winger. He could be the puzzle pieces that Spaletti needs if Candreva left.
To cover both side-attacking, Spaletti likes to put two horse-power midfielders.
Seems to me, if we sold J.Mario and pushed for Vidal, then the midfield would be Vidal-Vecino (the 2 horse-power midfielders) that protect Valero in the midfield. While Gaglia, Kondo, Brozo will be the sub depends on his tactial choice.
I am just presuming though.
Tbh, I prefer to sell Brozo and J.Mario to stay tough, I hope he can be the deep lying playmaker like Valero.

Then it is not Candreva. I am happy if he stays though. But don’t think he is the one that Spaletti needs for his own tactical style.

We now have Icardi, Perisic, Candreva, Eder, Jovetic, Gabigol, Pinamonti, Biabiany. IMO, we should sell Perisic at 45m, Jovetic at 10m, Biabiany at 5m and loan Pinamonti and Gabigol out. With 60m earned from sells plus 40m from Suning, we can strengthen our attach significantly. My wish is to sign Berardi (25m+player), Keita Balde (25m+player) and Draxler (50m).

But keita is not right winger. His best position is centre forward or second striker and left winger. Berardi is the best option
