Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport focuses on yesterday’s contract renewal of Ivan Perisic in today’s edition. Five-year contract with a 4.6 million of euros salary plus bonuses connected to how many goals and assists the Croat makes: “The contract of Perisic is more or less the same as the one Icardi signed a year ago. The only difference is that copyrights of all images are 100% owned by Inter where as in the Icardi case, the Argentinian owns 50%. There were talks about inserting a buy-out clause in the contract, but at the end such a clause was left out. As for now, as have been seen in the last games, Perisic seems to have been perfectly integrated in the new project of Inter coach Luciano Spalletti”.
Finally an end to all the transfer rumours of Ivan Perisic, who in an interview to inter.it expressed his happiness of being an Inter player until 2022 and his relief of finally being able to focus 100% on Inter.

That’s great news. But I want all interistas to know that he wanted to go ManU. Not that it matters now but he would have moved there. Great guy always professional and I believe the best is yet to come from him.
I think there is a difference between wanted to go and agreed to the move and leave the choise to inter management. he was never expressed in public/media that he want to leave or do something to make inter sell him. he is a pro and it is also up to the team to act like a big club and turn down other teams who want the player like inter did and thats great. even though we had our price and we could let him go, at some point spaletti said its too late, i want him and he is going to stay and thats what happend.
I’m SO glad.
