Riccardo Trevisani, Sky Sports journalist, believes that Joao Mario is the ideal player to put behind Icardi in the 4-2-3-1 formation: “Joao Mario is good, and if he is as good as he thinks he is, he will also become a strong trequartista. I am convinced that there is no better player in the Nerazzurri to play that role. ”

Despite his lack of shooting ability, he has the creativity to make chances for other players and actually penetrate a defense. His presence was clearly missed against Genoa when we could only move the ball side to side
he cant shoot.
he just needs to practice his finishing
It’s not about practices he surely has the skills, it’s more about having the right “instinct ” when finding himself in front of goal….
He is a quality player, I do not dislike Mario at all,I like him a lot and he still has a margin of betterment with us ..but a trequartista who literally cannot shoot the ball is kind of an odd thing and a big limit to the general productivity of our attack.
I think he would be good as trequartista, IF we have two Forward in front of him, maybe Perisic could join Icardi on the front
AGREE.
He is really good, unlike Brozo whom consistency is at question, this guy is quality, But his shooting need to improve a lot. I mean in a very high margin
