Another off-field altercation for Arturo Vidal, and this time Bayern Munich might decide to end the relationship with the Chilean in January. According to Bild yesterday, the former Juventus was at the centre of a rift within a local club after the 4-0 at home against Mainz. However the owner of the night-club, denied the involvement of Vidal: “Arturo did nothing, bottles and glasses were broken by other customers who had nothing to do with him.”

This did not put an end to the wrath of the directors at Bayern. Tuttosport wrote that there may be disciplinary action taken. He could also be left out of the squad for the Leipzig match, to make Heynckes life easier. The Chilean’s last few performances have not been brilliant, including last wednesday’s Cup of Germany match. This has fueled controversy against him by the press who are pushing to offload the player. Heynckes himself has only started Vidal in 2 out of 4 occasions from the 1st minute, suggesting that a Vidal and Bayern divorce is on the cards in January.

As is well known, Inter would be very interested in Vidal to give Spalletti the aggressive attacking midfielder so desperately wanted by the former Roma coach, who wants someone to replicate the success in that position provided by Nainggolan at Roma in the 2016/17 season.
