Two days before the match against Verona, Inter’s Italian midfielder Roberto Gagliardini spoke exclusively to Inter TV’s microphones and also discussed the win in the last matchday against Sampdoria in which the Nerazzurri seemed to switch off after a wonderful first half: “We played a great match for over an hour, we managed the pace of the game really well, but then in the last 20 minutes we switched off for some reason and made some mistakes and then they believed they could equalise.” The midfielder then discussed his compatibility with the other midfielders in the squad: “We are working well with the coach, with Vecino the understanding is good and is always improving, as it is with everyone else like Borja, Brozovic and Joao Mario. We now have two important matches before the international break, we need to win and bring home the points that are fundamental to where we want to be.”
