Former Inter full-back Cristian Ansaldi spoke with the gathering press in the mixed zone after having helped his Torino win a point away against the Nerazzurri at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district.
“A great return for me with a packed stadium of 70,000 fans with all their passion. It was always great to see so many good friends again but I am even more happy about today’s result and the point that we were able to bring home” Andaldi analyzed.
The Argentinian full-back then continued stating that “this edition of Inter is a lot more different than the one I played in last year. This is normal because when you win you can change your way of playing and also, this is a result of changing things that were not working last year. This year Inter is proving to be one of the top teams and a team that everybody is expecting to finish amongst the top four.”
In conclusion the former Atletico Madrid player stated that “Torino played a fantastic game today, of course we thought that we could bring home a win, but Inter did really well during the second half. At the end this was a great result for us.”
