Brazilian side, Cruzeiro’s new owners are preparing to bring in a new striker to suit their needs. They would like to find a young and dynamic striker who can pick up his teammates, put the team on his back and score when needed.
SuperEsporte reports that given the aforementioned traits, it is believed that Bolivian international Marcelo Moreno and Inter’s Gabigol are a few potential names on Cruzeiro’s wish list.
Gabigol is currently on loan at Benfica from Inter but has struggled for game time while in Portugal. Moreno on the other hand is on the books of Chinese second division club Wuhan Zall and scored 23 in 29 games in the recently finished season.
When asked on the rumours circulating in the media, the new Sporting Director, Itair Machado did not reveal any players the club are interested in bringing in.
“We’ll talk with Mano during the week, but it is clear that as far as the attacker is concerned, we are already on the market, but we will not name them. The idea is to buy a striker that is not static during the attack.”
please stop calling him Gabi”gol”
But but but but…. he is soooo good at Football Manager 17
I honestly don’t mind us selling him asap! He never showed a thing playing for us besides being a young spoiled r”” who thought he didn’t needed to learn a thing in order to play for us.
When you play as a winger you needed to back track a lot too but that’s a thing he is not doing or wanting to do.
No, let’s sell him while he still have a name, is young and still have a big potential to do well and while we still can get a fair price for him – let’s face it, the 30mil we payed for him is amount of money that really won’t buy you more than above average players now a days, so hopefully we can get some of our money back.
if he go back to brazil, most likely we already lose faith on him.. what a waste of money to sign him.. he coach by like 3 coach, and none of them see him as inter material.. sad, sunning was inexperience, and easy to fall on the old fox like kia. i hope they learn from it now, which i think they learn already. we can see than in our mercato this season..
joao Mario was not that good of player neither for 45m
at least he got more playing time than gabriel..^^
Mario is a strange case though, he perform well in Euro and pocketed pogba in the final as CM
its not for inters system of spalletti, however he would probably murder the French league with p$g
But J.Mario didn’t complain as Gabi did, he (Gabi) even faild in Benfica in a less intensive league, but still consider himself as a superstar.
