In an interview with Inter TV, Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia who starting a match for the first time in a year since Miranda is suspended, gave his views of today’s match against Chievo Verona at the San Siro.

Ranocchia began by saying that it is “a great opportunity for everybody today, for me, for the other guys and for Inter. We have to bring home three points because we want to be at the top of the table and get used to that feeling and we deserve it.”

The former Sampdoria and Hull City defender continued that “our coach Luciano Spalletti always studies our opponents and during training he highlights their strenghts and weaknesses. Therefore we are well prepared, we just have to show that on the pitch today.The fans? We are very happy with our fans, they are always close to us and when the atmosphere at Meazza is good we can raise ourselves another level. Again, today we have to bring home three points and give the crowd a good and entertaining performance.”

Moments later Ranocchia spoke with Premium Sport where he was asked about the upcomign Juventus match stating that “today we are only focused on this match, these are important points to make everyone else understand that we want to fight at the top.”
