Inter will continue to push for the signing of Paris St. Germain’s midfielder, Javier Pastore. Pastore has been tracked throughout the winter transfer window and is considered as the final piece to Luciano Spalletti’s puzzle otherwise known as Inter Premium Sport reports.
Inter have met with his agent Marcelo Simonian on a number of occasions but the road ahead is still difficult due to the fact that the French club are not willing to simply loan him out this window due to having financial fair play problems to contest with and substantial amounts of money needing raised, which will not be raised by simply loaning players out.
Should Inter manage to convince PSG to deal Pastore, it could come at a cost. Premium Sport further report that an agreement to land Pastore could involve the French side getting a first option of sorts on Inter’s star man Mauro Icardi in return, with the 24-year-old forward being identified as the ideal man to replace Edinson Cavani should he leave the club.
This deal is very likely to happen only if 1) there’s no other club who want to buy him outright until the last day, 2) we manage to send Mario to other club with decent money. So be ready to see his name on paper everyday until the last day.
Crossed fingers. I would love to have him in the team
That’s the only reason other clubs want to transfer players to us…to inquire about Icardi… psh
