Turin based newspaper Tuttosport analyses potential transfer targets for Beppe Marotta, following his official announcement as Inter CEO in the paper edition of the newspaper.

According to the report: “In order to understand the type of players Marotta would want to bring to Inter, you have to look at the history of the Juventus players he signed. They were usually players at great European clubs, who were not considered indispensable and had a good amount of international experience. Profiles such as, Khedira come to mind.”

“He arrived in Turin having won the Champions League with Real Madrid and the World Cup with Germany. Another example is Mandzukic, who had won the Champions League with Bayern Munich, before moving to Atletico Madrid. These a great examples of the types of players that Marotta would try to bring to Inter. It’s also important to note that although these players are 30 and older now, they arrived relatively young, allowing Juve to build a solid foundation” Tuttosport reports.

The game against PSV was proof to Marotta that the team lacks that winning personality. Marotta has spent years consolidating good working relationships with clubs like Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. Both teams have a lot of talented players hidden in their reserves for Marotta to bring to Inter.
