Roma Sporting Director Monchi is currently working on upgrading their defensive department and the Giallorossi are currently following a couple of different players in which they will seek to sign at least one this winter window.
The first of the three, with the highest priority is 18 year old Turkish center back, Ozan Kabak from Turkish giants Galatasaray. The young defender, born in 2000 currently has a contract with the Turkish giants until June 2020 with a release clause of €7.5 million, Corriere dello Sport reports.
Roma do not plan to miss out on this opportunity to sign a young player at what seems to be a decent price as there is competition from Inter and Manchester United.
Kabak has appeared in 13 matches for Galatasaray this season in the Super Lig, accumulating 3 yellow cards so far and he has also managed to appear 4 times in Champions League.
Roma’s alternative to signing Kabak would be 22 year old Danish center back, Joachim Anderson from Sampdoria who is also being tracked by Inter and Juventus.
