Before the training at the stadium Roberto Donadoni held the usual press conference before tomorrow’s game against Inter. “We will face a very good team that has made good results in away games. We know the level of our opponent, but we will play our game and change nothing, it will be important to play our own cards , with high frequence, conceding few spaces to this strong opponent which can change the game anytime”.

As said many times before, Donadoni will only think about his own team making his formation: “I like to work on my own team. I almost never think about the opponents in this situation. In the last weeks we also had some changes and got interesting outcome. I don’t worry about the tactics, I am thinking more about our approach of the match, where we have to be better than normally. Otherwise we will be depending on our opponents quality and we don’t want that.”

On his bruised players: “There is some tight decision to be made. Between today and tomorrow morning I want to decide. We tried some thing during the week. I would say Valdes is recovered, but he was out for two games and so he is at about 95%.”

Last year Parma surprised Inter with their lineup and quick forwards: “”I don’t care about the past. What counts is now. How we play may have a certain value but is not decisive. It is more important that we go on the pitch with the right determination. That is depending of every single player. Our team doesn’t depend on one or two single players, but has to be confident about the whole group, and it is no coincidence that in the last games who entered the game was decisive. That has to be our spirit, our mentality. If we can do this tomorrow, we have an advantage. We have a great chance, a big game, and we have to use this chance. Obviously I want a positive result, but we need all our efforts to reach this.”

Inter won’t have Cassano, but don’t lack alternatives: “Inter has strong forwards. It is a team with impressing potential, which can play in the cups with a totally different team than in the championship. Palacio and Milito are the concluders of their game, but there are also others, to which they give chances by drawing attention to them.”

Parma has allowed to let Pabon go home to his sick child: “You can’t do any other thing in this situation. Of course I would have liked him here, first of all because that would have meant that his child was feeling better, and from a football point of view I like to have all players available. But his has been decision that has been thought about and couldn’t have been any other.”
