The relationship between Inter and Wesley Sneijder seems to deteriorate with every passing day. Earlier in the season the club introduced a ban on players regarding social networks such as Facebook and Twitter. The situation arose when Sneijder put up pictures of himself and, among others, Paris Hilton while he was in the United States for medical treatment for his injury.

Today Sneijder put up a Tweet (@sneijder101010) that probably won’t be appreciated by the club and it seems increasingly unlikely that the Dutchman will play for Inter after the January transfer window.

“For those who ask if I am called up for tomorrow’s match, I’m not called up!” Sneijder ends the tweet in Dutch when he wishes his countrymen a Merry Christmas.

Inter will probably not like neither the text content nor the fact that he knowingly violated the rules of the club. The story continues and the question is no longer whether he will leave or not, but where he is going to, for how much and when.
