Italian Sky Sport 24 transfermarket expert, Gianluca Di Marzio, explained late last night the clause in the sale of the Balotelli contract that Inter has with Manchester City: “There’s a clause in effect that gives Inter a pre-emptiive rigth to buy Balotelli back which is valid for 48 hours. Meaning that should Manchester City receive an offer for Balotelli which the club intends to accept, they have to inform Inter of this offer and then Inter has 48 hours to respond.”
