Antonio Cassan’s agent played a part in Inter Milan’s capture of Dinamo Zagreb whizkid Mateo Kovacic.

The midfielder was a target for Europe’s biggest clubs, with Manchester City, Arsenal and Real Madrid also expressing interest.

However, Cassano’s agent, Beppe Bozzo led negotiations and was able to clinch a deal on Inter’s behalf.

It’s understood Bozzo had been following Kovacic for some months for Inter before they pulled the trigger this week.
