Inter are the only club in Europe’s top five leagues to have won all of their away games so far this season, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
The report details how in the Premier League, Liverpool’s draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford two weeks ago leaves their away record as four wins and one draw and Barcelona have disappointed away, losing away to Athletic Bilbao and Granada.
Furthermore, the report adds, Bundesliga leaders Borussia Mönchengladbach lost away to Borussia Dortmund, with both Wolfsburg and Bayern Munich drawing away multiple times as well. In France, Paris Saint Germain have lost twice away, to Rennes and Dijon.
Outside of Europe’s top five leagues, the only other clubs to have won all of their away games so far this season include Belgium’s league leaders Club Brugge and Portugal’s Benfica. Therefore, coach Antonio Conte’s Inter squad are the only team in Europe’s top five leagues to keep a perfect away record so far this season, which they hope to extend against Bologna today.
